You are probably reading this at this moment because you have a TEFL/TESOL Student or a Training Participant applying for a post and they have presented to you their ACCREDITAT Certificate.

Well, here are a few critical points that will put your mind at rest:

1. To achieve accreditation, our TEFL/TESOL Providers and Training Providers are put through a very demanding accreditation process and must meet the stringent ACCREDITAT Standards. Underpinning all of this process is our principle of 'Excellence via Competence'. Please take time to explore our Standards on the Standards and Evidence page. This should dispel any concerns.

2. ACCREDITAT is a division of Training Issues Ltd. Training Issues is a high quality learning and development enterprise, with extensive experience of assessment and accreditation on the international stage. But there’s more than this. For over 10 years, Training Issues has been designing and delivering learning and development materials with a large ELT content for many international clients. All this experience gained is then channelled back through to ACCREDITAT to ensure we continue to deliver an excellent and up-to-date customer experience.

3. Many accreditation companies focus only on the TEFL/TESOL Provider or the Training Provider. This is not for us. Students and Participants are our lifeblood – without them we would not exist. We need to focus on them as much as we do on the Provider. It doesn’t seem quite right to us that we just register them, give them a certificate, and say ‘bye-bye’. Thus, we provide free CPD materials for the TEFL/TESOL Students and the Training Participants registered with us, to enhance their customer experience – and their skills.

It would not be right for us to say but certainly the TEFL/TESOL Students and Training Participants who have gone through our hands have commented time and time again that they felt better prepared than those who did not benefit from these materials. So, you have a prospective employee who is likely to be better prepared for the role than many other TEFL/TESOL Students and Training Participants.

4. At ACCREDITAT, we have a tight system in place to seek regular feedback from the TEFL/TESOL Students and Training Participants who have gone through our hands and are now carrying out their roles. Very few accreditation bodies take time to proactively follow this through. But we do. In addition to the benefits we derive from the feedback, which we then pass on to our accredited Providers, we feel that this simple activity builds esteem in the Students and Training Participants. Feedback from them on this particular point reinforces our feelings about this time and time again. So, you have a prospective employee whose esteem will grow to some degree as a result of the feedback activities we will ask them to carry out.
