Accreditation Process

It is our intention to make this process easy to follow and easy to complete.

The steps to accreditation are as follows:

1. Ensure you have trawled through the ACCREDITAT Standards and possible sources of evidence on the Standards and Evidence page. Contact us if you have any queries.

2. Want to proceed or still not sure? Contact us. We’ll take a few details and together we can decide whether we can start the process or whether we need to give you more information to mull over.

3. Once you decide to proceed, let us know and we’ll email you a 'Course Submission and Registration' document. Once everything is clear, you pay the relevant fee - see the Training Provider Fees page. This fee is non-refundable and covers you for 12 months – this is the period set for you to achieve accreditation for the course(s) submitted. Once the relevant fee is paid, we will assist you to get you up and running as soon as possible. From this time we will allow you to put our logo on your site and documentation - this will be marked ‘Provisional Accreditation’ until full accreditation is achieved within the 12 month period.

The accreditation-related questions on this document will mirror the ACCREDITAT Standards and you will be asked to provide your evidence against each Standard. There may be some Standards for which you cannot provide evidence – this may be as a result of the type of course or method of delivery. Don’t worry – we’ll help you with any query.

4. Our Accreditation Advisory Team will inspect your submission and documents in evidence. We may need to get you to submit additional or different information, but we’ll help you with that too. Then we will advise you that accreditation has been granted, deferred or declined. If deferred or declined, we’ll help you to get things right at that time. However, if you have been keeping in touch with us throughout the process, there is much less chance of your submission being deferred or declined.

5. Once accredited, you can display our logo (we'll remove the 'Provisional' label) on your site and documentation and this will demonstrate to customers that you are a high quality Provider and you meet the demanding ACCREDITAT Standards of quality assurance.

6. From the date of accreditation there will be annual moderation inspections for each course accredited.

It’s as easy as that!
